Case Studies

The manner in which In-Site Reporting Programs are configured permit immediate identification of any improvements made to the program sequences to Process Plant operations or CIP systems

Because In-Site archives all information, performance reports relating to Costs, Verification (Due Diligence) Environmental emissions or Operation & Times (equipment utilisation) enable immediate 'before' and 'after' comparisons to be made.

Comparisons can be for a single item of plant cleaned (Tank, Pipe line, Pasteuriser, etc.) or can be for an entire CIP system or even of the whole site.

A comprehensive Filtering System permits information to be tailored to suit the user. This enables archived data to be scrutinised to confirm that the improvements are 'repeatable' and not just 'one-off' benefits.

Changes made to reduce Duration, Costs or CO2 emissions will be immediately evidenced on the Viewer Display. In-Site System that monitor these parameters against 'benchmarks' will include details regarding '+' or '-' variances against each Selection Record.

When comparing Channel Reports regarding Costs, Operations & Times or Environmental, these reports can be for tailored for any time period: a day, a week, a month, etc.

Graph

1

flow performance improvements made to a brewery 'total loss' CIP system.

2

improvements made to the interface between returning pre-rinse and detergent solutions.

Cost Analysis

1

case study showing >50% reduction in water demand.

2

cleaning costs to a single pipe line circuit reduced by 75%, saving >£21k/annum.

Operations & Times

1

case study showing a CIP circuit being 'dead-ended'.

2

showing poor sequencing of sanitiser dosing pump and dosing valve.

Verification
(Due Diligence)

1

case study showing how the Verification report identifies non-compliance and the comparison report details the trend leading to CIP failures.

Environmental

1

Reduction in energy demand of around 50% by optimising use of existing resources and ensuring circuit is hydraulically balanced.

Does your process control system enable improvements to be evidenced immediately?
