Service Log |
| The In-Site system monitors every time a valve or pump operates. A pre-determined number of valve actuations or pump running hours can be ‘set’ against each individual item being monitored (an example is shown right). When a valve has operated, say 3,000 times, or a pump has ‘run’ for 5,000 hours, In-Site generates a report to identify which items of plant are due for maintenance. A separate report, Operation & Times is also generated, linked to the Sequence Table, that summarises the total separate operations of each pump/valve being monitored and also the cumulative elapsed time (hrs:min:sec) that the item has been in use. This information indicates the likely time period before a plant item appears in the Service Log. Plant items appearing in the Service Log can only be ‘reset’ by a duly authorised person, usually Engineering or Maintenance staff. The reset button in the Service Log can only be operated if the In-Site security software key is programmed to permit access to this function. After a plant item has been 'reset' the system stores this information so that a full service record is kept of each plant item. This assists sites who have an asset care regime. |
| The Service Log report permits filtering of the information to show: • All CIP systems • A specific CIP system or channel • A specific plant item (pump/valve)
