Operation & Times |
| The Operation and Times report provides summarised information on the number of times a particular plant item (pump, valve, etc.) was energised or actuated during an individual cleaning programme. This report also details the total duration that the plant item was actuated/energised for during the cleaning programme. The Operations & Times report is a truncated version of the Sequence Table, the latter detailing the time duration every time the plant item was used during a CIP programme. In the system configuration files, each plant item can have an 'operations/times value' entered against it. This value determines when the item should be serviced, e.g. after 5,000 actuations for a valve or 10,000 hours if the plant item is a pump. When the entered value is exceeded, In-Site generates a separate Service Log identifying that the plant item is due for service or maintenance. We recommend that CIP systems are audited every 6 months to check for leaks, poor actuation, etc. This 'real world' audit ensures that the CIP provides the quality standard required when cleaning food plant. |

In the Operations & Times report, certain plant items are shown in red, this signifies that those plant items have exceed the 'operations/times value' and are due for a maintenance check.
Once the plant item has received the service or maintenance check, an authorised person (usually engineer) will reset the 'operations/times value' using the appropriate security key.
Following a service/maintenance check, the plant item will subsequently be shown in black until it due for another service.
