Environmental Report |
| Another unique feature of the In-Site system is that it produces an Environmental Report after every CIP or Processing plant operation. This report identifies the amount of energy (electricity) used by individual pumps and the amount of energy (as therms) required to maintain the desired cleaning or processing temperature. The report quantifies total carbon emissions based on the carbon intensity value of the fuels used, typically:
Energy demands can be reduced by ensuring CIP programmes are optimised and that CIP plant is well maintained. Achieving these two criteria produces a win-win situation ~ cleaning costs are reduced and the site's CO2 emissions are also reduced. In-Site is the only data management system that enables CO2 emissions to be monitored. |
| Detail shown in the Environmental Report |
Period of electrical supply to nominated plant items |
| CO2 emissions of each nominated plant item |
| Period of operation of steam supply valves |
| CO2 emissions of each steam supply valve |
| Overall CO2 emissions of each Process or CIP operation. Report can be generated for an entire CIP channel. |
